Material:
GYTS is a standard outdoor fiber optic
cable featuring a stranded loose tube design, a central metal strength member,
and a corrugated steel tape (PSP) armor. It is designed for high-stress,
long-haul, and LAN applications requiring excellent crush resistance, rodent
protection, and moisture-blocking capabilities for underground or aerial
environments.
The tubes are filled with fibers and a water-resistant filling compound. The strength member is a metallic strength member . A metal polyethylene laminate (MPL) is applied around the cable core. The cable is completed with a PE sheath.
